If i get "Variable is to Big" error message what does it mean? is the size of the function stack the problem?

Most likely basic4gl is trying to access data that is out of range for a variable to allocate, or tom has set a size max for variables(to keep mem leaks down) I dont know how right that is.. -Darkjester

In Basic4GL "Variable is too big" means a single variable is larger than the Basic4GL memory limit (400meg off the top of my head).
dim array(100000000) for example. -Tom
