My project isn't ready for the competition.
It'll probably be about Christmas when a demo will be ready

Nice update, I also noticed that you'd written exactly 1,000 lines of code. :)

Don't worry about the keyboard problem, I've got a desktop keyboard & mouse connected to my laptop. :D

Cool demo, but the flamethrower doesn't work.
you might also want to make it where you can drop an item with out using it.

Another thing you could do is make some water tiles and if your moving fast enough you can run across the top of the water but if you stop you'll sink

i like the idea for the water tiles and i was already gonna make it so you can drop items

i also fixed the flamethrower to shoot. i ran into some problems though; there are some times when there is a lot of simultaneously moving sprites being created that some sprites dont even register as existing. You cant bind to them, cant delete them, cant change their velocity, and cant even check to see if their animation is finished yet. You can see them and their animation, but it doesnt register.

that was yesterdays problem

todays problem:

reinstalling xp onto my computer because somehow the hard drive was formated and hoping i can recover any files that are still on backup.

minor setback...

I hope you start to feel better.
When i downloaded the file it ended up being the last version, and yes I made sure that i downloaded the most recent upload.
Just so i can make an entry in this competition, I'm currently working on making a sidescroller.

I keep having trouble with the collision in my program, but for the most part it seems to be coming along well.

I'm also trying to get people to join my forum. I also want to know what everyone think's of it's design.
