This bulletin board gives - as many other boards - sometimes trouble when you copy source code and try to paste it into the Basic4GL editor. If you encounter such a problem this is (one) soulution: - Copy the code (so it sits on clipboard) - Open WordPad (not notepad) in Windows - Paste the code into WordPad - Select All Text in WordPad (so the WordPad text sits on clipboard) - Paste the code (from WordPad) to Basic4GL
If you are posting code and want to avoid this time of trouble place your code between tags using the Insert Code Tag when you are writing your post ( ). Do NOT use the Teletype Tag.
Have fun posting and copying Basic4GL code!

NM, it works, lol. I made the mistake of first copying it to notepad, then after I saw it didn't work, I copied notepad to wordpad... So anyway, I had to come back here to copy code again and put it directly on wordpad.

Key: "{" means to type "[" and "}" means to type "]"
I'm finding {quote} and {pre} work well to display the code in the original format. As long as the line isn't too long, it does a great job. Copy direct from B4GL's IDE, no need for notepad or wordpad.
Close your code with {/pre} and {/quote} for a perfect paste, complete with tabbed code to the right for legibility.
Maybe Tom will mod the bulletin board for {code} and {/code} to actually use {quote}{pre} and {/quote}{/pre}, or something similar instead ?
