Before I start, I am not full of myself. I just wrote a obj/l3d model loader that can cope with most of the wierd things that other modeling programs do to the file formats. Pleas read the readme to find out why I made this library. Now that this library exists there should be almost no reason for people to make good games for basic4gl einlander.com/Programs/LIBOBJ.zip

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! i am SUPER impressed.. i know im a bit late here, but better than never!
WOOOOO! See i use Blender 3D, i can make a nice model, and now i can load it into B4GL! :-)
All i gotta learn now is how to use the OpenGL engine to get stuff the way i want them! *ehum* its not hard is it?? :-P

Hi. I've already have LIBOBJ.zip downloaded . But there was nothing appear in the screen . What can I do And for the Blender 3D software ... How am I going to load the 3D object into my Basic4gl program Can anyone please answer my question ?

Just run the libobjExample.gb file & wait a few seconds, you should then see the scene. If you want to load 3D models, just look at this thread.

lol, ok well this is good but I'm going to have to learn how to include textures into the model loading process as it is needed for my models. anyone can give me pointers into getting about this would be greatly appreciated

when i get home ill just add upload my latest model loader that loads textures very nicely(if you have textures....)
