I'm currently in the process of moving the Basic4GL documentation and tutorials into a Wiki. basic4gl.wikispaces.com/ to be more specific. I could use a lot of help!Currently I've just cut and pasted the documentation and tutorials from this site and hit save. I will endeavour to clean things up a bit more but there's a lot to sort out. If anyone feels like helping out it's quite easy to do. Just register a Wikispaces login, goto basic4gl.wikispaces.com/ find something that looks like it needs fixing and click "Edit". I've also put some basic notes at basic4gl.wikispaces.com/howyoucanhelp that discuss things like formatting code samples. I really like the idea of having the documentation in an anyone-can-edit format as it really has been the community that has kept Basic4GL going. It would also give people the chance to contribute tutorials without having to email them to me and wait until I get around to fixing up the main website (and remind me when I forget to do so). And it be a useful place to put FAQs from this discussion board ("how do I load a 3D model" ), or cool example programs that people have posted etc. There's a lot of useful information buried in this message board which could be turned into documentation or tutorials. So anyway, I strongly encourage you all to head over there and see if there's anything you can do. -Tom P.S. Dodica, I hijacked your Wikispace. Hope you don't mind. I've still left the original basic4gl.wikispaces.com/welcome page intact.

Isn't a publically editable website kind of... Risky. I mean, I wish everyone was cool enough to not mess things up, But I know what there will be that ocassional a s s that will just go there to screw with stuff.

And there are also tools to deal with vandalism. Pages can be locked, or require registration. And there's a history of changes, so its easy enough to roll everything back to the last unspoiled version. I think it's definitely worth giving a try. If worst comes to worst we can still fall back to the non-Wiki version. -Tom

Ofcourse i dont mind, that was suppost to be basic4gl wikispace anyways Why dont you register so that i can make you organizer ? P.S. also an important thing is that you register so that we can turn the gues editing off, so that people must pass registration before being able to change things out, thats pretty important.

I really hope that a lot of people respond. This really could help newer guys like me learn how to use Basic4GL better.

Hello Tom Mulgrew,
I'm truly sorry to mentioned that 'basic4gl.wikispaces.com' is no longer up, it is has already closed it's doors for good.

Yeah, Wikispaces went out of business sometime ago. A lot of the old stuff that was on the wiki can still be found here though. Sent from my 5010X using proboards
