you can't make a dill from a basic4gl program you'l need to convert it to visual basic and heres how you make a dill using a gb file
dim file
file=openfilewrite("mydill.dill") writeline(file,"mydillstuff") closefile(file) beep() printr "done"

Thats not possible either, you have to code the .dll in C++ using toms header file or else the .dll will not work.

Hi MadCow: soz i mean convert it to c++ * Well after a good deal of work I found that GFABasic can indeed make DLLs itself for use in other apps, unfortunately, the DLLs are seemingly only usable by .EXEs written with GFABasic. I try to use them in Basic4GL and says they are an invalid DLL. If I posted the DLL and source, could someone convert it possibly ? It's a single call to Hii which prints Hello on the screen followed by adding 2 #s. David

You should really get codeblocks and check out the dllproject tom has made for us. Its actually pretty easy to use, even with little c++ knowledge (such as myself).

It is indeed all you need is the b4gl dll sdk and google and you'll get results quite quickly.
