Demo runs great here. Think it can use <100% of system resources ? Consider sleep(), etc.

Thanks for the suggestions. Party movement speed is a little difficult to fix, but I shall try. Darth Vader is beatable, but its more a question of luck than one of skill. I waaaay overpowered him. As to the system resources thing - I'm open to suggestions. I can do some minor tweaks to the program that will make it slightly faster, but not enough to fix the problem you're talking about. I run a 500 MHz system, so everything takes up all of my processor time, hence I was unaware of your problems. If anyone wants to go through the code and suggest revisions, I'd be happy to oblige them. I recently devised a slight revision to the battle system that will make my life easier when I decide to add special attacks, so I'll probably be working on that for a while. I don't predict any cosmetic differences at first, but the code will be more flexible. Also remember that this project is only half finished. There are a few things that I wanted to put in, and are thus present in the code and are using processor time, that have not been finished or implemented. Thank you for your suggestions. They give me something to do in shop.

Wow, I tried the demo thing, looks great, I also am working toward making a game for my senior project, but I have a year and 1/2 to learn Basic4gl well enough to do it. BTW, did you draw those sprites yourself or did you get them from somewhere?

I used Charas.EX to assemble my overworld sprites, and a few people helped me out with graphics at the last minute, but for the most part, the graphics are mine.

No, I made that myself. There may be similar music in Runescape, but I highly doubt it's the same tune.

I think I've only got the files from the first page stored on my computer, I don't think I ever downloaded the others but I may be wrong. You can get them here.
