Basic4GL isn't really in competition with other programming languages, so I have no problems with people using this discussion forum to discuss them. (Even those that run 10 squillion times as fast and have uber-cool squiggly brackets.)
Madcow suggested creating another board for discussing them. Vote yes if you agree.
Cheers, -Tom

I vote yes, mainly because I think it could be beneficial to basic4gl(people may port others code etc.) as well as attracting peoples discussions here instead of elsewhere .

Hi,
I am not interested at it what other people write ('c, c++,delphi,assembler) and so on. I can it do self. Additionally, you could nothing learn therefrom. I think this should be GlBasic here. I therefore say no.

Yeah but if people show codes from other langauges, and port them to Basic4GL if people ever wanted to learn another lnagauge and understands Basic4GL they can learn from looking at the code from Basic4GL and see how it works in that other one!

well its obvious what i put ;D. Seems like most people agree.
Peterpan;
You may need help in another language, too. so a board like this may come handy for those wanting to ask q's about other languages.

Exactly, this board has a fluctuating level of activity, if people feel like they can discuss any language on this board (instead of going to others) it may keep activity levels up.

If Tom hasn't changed the default settings when he created the poll then there isn't an expiry date.
