The beeping doesn't happen for me? How do I trigger it off?

i think if u do MessageBeep(0); at the end of the code it might set the beep to 0 which would be off im not sure but i did do it in a win 32 app

That's not really solving the problem, more like hiding it . I haven't run the program so I have no idea what this beeping is, but don't some ascii characters cause the console to beep ? Maybe something in your code is amiss and it's outputting the ascii char 7 (which is bell). Are all your array indices inline? I have no idea really, random guesses.

maybe u could use some kind of beep function and just make a volume cotrol and since u dont want beeping u could set the volume to 0

YOu cannot exactly control the system speaker like that, since its basically designed for bios debug

lol i know that but u can control the beeping if it is from somthing to do with C++ but i dont know wat is doing that

I think the beeping might be because of using conio.h since it uses bios calls for the system speaker, meaning like when you boot and press a key way to many keys it will beep.

For what it's worth I'm running Vista & the program has never made any sound on my computer.

yea that is try it also can beep when there is a hardware malfunction lol Duh thats why its there, Might have something to do with older os dependance on those librarys
