People who are new to programming in C++ may encounter an error when they compile their code, which mentions missing header files such as iostream. This 'error' is very simple to solve... If you're writing a C program make sure you save it with a c prefix: filename.cHowever if you're writing a C++ program, you must save it with the cpp prefix: filename.cppThe problem occurs when people write a C++ program & save their program with the .c prefix. No, it's usually just the standard include files like iostream, string etc that cannot usually be found.
