Try this code. C++ Try to guess what it does before you run it.
#include <windows.h>
int main(){ DEVMODE newScrRez; newScrRez.dmPelsWidth = static_cast<DWORD>(800); newScrRez.dmPelsHeight = static_cast<DWORD>(600); newScrRez.dmFields = DM_PELSWIDTH | DM_PELSHEIGHT;
ChangeDisplaySettings( &newScrRez, CDS_UPDATEREGISTRY ); }
Also you can try this. Put a bmp file named img.bmp in the same directory as the binary.
#include <windows.h> #include <string> #include <shlobj.h> #include <WinInet.h> using namespace std;
int main(){ string wallpaper = "img.bmp"; string none = ""; string * sNone = &none; string * sWallpaper = &wallpaper;
SystemParametersInfo(SPI_SETDESKWALLPAPER, 0, (void*)wallpaper.c_str(), SPIF_SENDCHANGE);
}

The second one changes your desktop wallpaper, the first one changes your screen resolution (I think?).
