i could find some previously but when i copied them to studio and tried using them i got a syntax error and it was "hello world" program from cplusplus.com so im wondering if im puting the code into the wrong part of studio or the syntax on cplusplus.com is more up to date than syntax in studio 2003 like basic4gl keeps updating its syntax

...basic4gl keeps updating its syntax Does it now? Last time I heard it change was in 2004 and that was something to do with # and $ since then only things has been added. - Nicky

It worries me when someone who wants to learn C++ claims they can't find tutorials.... youve got that right! C++ is already complicated as it is, if you cant find the tutorials by understanding how to use google then i dont know how you will even right programs with C++ or even understand it

There's a tutorial on this page which will show you how to create a new project in Visual Studio 2003 & compile a simple program.
