Can anyone point me to a java compiler where I can code most likely a game and all files that you would need to set up java thanks.

For JAVA the NetBeams IDE are the right www.netbeans.org/You can download the IDE and all what you need in one file www.netbeans.org/downloads/index.htmlThe IDE with JAVA SE, JAVA WEB, JAVA ME, GlassFish, Apache Tomcat are 205 MB but with only 37MB more = 242 MB you get this too RUBY, PHP, C++, SOA Joshy

Ok well I don't have broadband I only have dial up is there another solution with a smaller size or can I stop the download where I am while I'm offline and rejoin from where I was.

The minimum you need is the curent JDK (the JRE is incuded) ~73MB JDK= Java Development Kit JRE= Java Runtime Environment Download: JDKor you can order a CD with all JAVA tools Joshy

im having problems using the c++ tools, i cant seem to get the IDE to detect or find teh compilers
