Mathew: Yep, at this stage it does. I'm using Codeblocks and the wxSmith extension (for laying out wxWidgets controls). In theory the code should still compile with other C++ compilers though (Borland C++, Visual C++) DJ: If you want to get a copy of the source, check out Tortoise SVN tortoisesvn.tigris.org/. Once it's installed, you can right click->"SVN Checkout..." and enter "https://newbasic4gl.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/newbasic4gl/trunk" to pull down the source code from sourceforge. Right now it's mostly the same as the v2.5.8 source (but with a new folder for the wxWidgets GUI bit). -Tom

I'm glad to hear that Basic4GL can be compiled with Mingw.
My port of MiniB3D library uses the same compiler: so, it could be possible to include it in Basic4GL, and have features similar to Blitz3D: 3ds loading, lod terrains, quaternions, animations, collisions...

That's awesome you've released the source, Tom ! Definitely there should be people ready to take up the mantle of office and continue this great language ! I know my earlier S2 I gave up on and posted the source and there's 2-people working on trying to get it to run in Windows 7. Very generous of you ! Nice job !!
