I don't think this is an appropriate place to put an advertisement for these 'skills' (although it is on topic ). My opinion on it is the same as drugs, its not big and its certainly not clever (but it can be fun :/).

lol, I don't think I'd call it hacking if you need a program that someone else wrote (the cheatengine you mentioned). I would call that "using someones program".
But, any legal tutorials you'd like to write on the subject, feel free. But I'd say that you really shouldn't call yourself a hacker until you're experienced with a few programming languages (mainly C). Until then, you're really just using other peoples programs (which may be hack themselves, but that doesn't make you a hacker).

you could also try subseven legends, but i doubt any good antivirus can let the client pass thru and do it's work without the person knowing it... however, there is always the choice of coding your own tools, and any good programmer should at least have once thought of it if not made somehting about it.. C and ASM primarily needed, although pascal worked fine for me You could start small... make a tool that fills up the space on the victim's hard disk with invisible files (long names... really long) and you also have the advantage of your tool not being detected by any antivirus However the best thing you can do is not hack anything ... i got miself into trouble when i tried it on people and they found out...

As for "hacking" i was always into the harmless ones, while never studying the ones that could really harm anyone. Single player game hacks, modifications, creating bot tools for mmorpgs for testing...and that's about it, but i always love to mess with everything after a while... BTW. [off topic] i so hate serbia this year...came back from vacation at sea in a stinking economic bus(they all are, was lucky it wasnt one from 80's(most of them are)) becouse the plane doesnt land anywhere near the center of belgrade, and i returned to the temperature of over 40 degrees celcius, on sun that would be...50~60 in the center of belgrade was really hard to breathe...Not even gonna mention the first vacation(had 2 this year). And now, at 5am its still 32 degrees celcius in my apartment!!!!!

I wonder what sites you were trying to access Actually, when I was in highschool the filters would block legitamate sites all the time. Often including the site the teacher would tell us to use. She'd bring the class to the computer lab and tell us to go to www.uberbenfranklinwebsite.com or whatever, and good old St. Bernard comes up saying we tried to access a site with inappropriate content. Then we'd be like, "What kind of sick pervert are you, sending your class to sites with inappropriate content!" and she'd be all like "STFU, @#$%&@! What the @#@$ is wrong with the @%^@5 in charge of this @%@@! school!!11!" Okay, so maybe I exaggerated a little toward the end, but yeah. I've "hacked" the high-scores file for Minesweeper before. Not really hard, I think it was all ascii I also used to modify shell32.dll to change the system icons (mainly folders). Later I realized I could do the same thing through the registry. But no h4x0r-ing for me. Just normal "linux-programmer-geek" style stuff, like writing my own bootsplash program just for the hack of it....

I have a hacking story. We had this guy who thought he was all big hacker and he had this program which unlocked all the stuff the school had prevented us from accessing. So I was like "gimmez the program". The idiot then copied it onto one of the schools computers and emailed it to me. The schools virus checker picked it up immediatly and then myself and he were buttraped by the head teacher. Thats when I realised being able to change a few settings on the computer was not worth being butt raped.
Oh and hi pizzasgood, haven't seen you for a while!
[edit] yeh our filters did that aswell, infact some of the sites it blocked were quite funny and should have been totally acceptable.

Wouldn't it be easier to temprorary turn the parental block off in the browser? In case it can't be done, just temprorarily install a new broser like opera or something?

I've either been busy hacking the CIA, or I was on vacation at my dad's farm without internet. Take your pick.

Yep, it's 280 acres. He mostly grows hay, and some oats. We've got about 15 head of cattle (just beef, though the neighbors have a dairy farm. We get our milk literally straight out of their bulk tank). Even my little sister can drive a tractor now, and not the little cutesy tractors the city-folk wannabe farmers get, either. Not quite the big articulated one our neighbors have, but big enough to take up most of the road.
I lived there until my parents got divorced seven years ago, then Mom moved us south. This summer she got married and moved back north, and a little east. I had already been enrolled in college for a year down here, so I'm pretty much stuck for three more years... Nice school though, just ridiculously hot in the summer and no snow in the winter (but it gets cold enough to be unpleasant, so winter's basically useless here). My grandparents live about an hour away though, so I'm not exactly on my own or anything. But unless I'm in some kind of relationship or have some killer job, I'm heading north as soon as I graduate.

Divorce sucks, luckily my mom moved just up the road. At the time I stayed with my dad but then he threw me out so as I said it was lucky my mom lived up the road or else I would have had a long walk!
Getting back to the topic of hacking, I can hack my own computer real good....does that count?
