Ok well basically it's small life simulator, I will keep adding small features to make it quite a nice little game.
What I need is a little timer that adds on every second 1 hour to the clock. from there I can add some features that will eventually turn it up bye one year.
I wouldn't know where to look to find something like this, I looked at the timer functions but they don't quite have what I want.

Hi wayne, I've knocked together a simple clock routine, it's based on one that nicky wrote here. If you make some small modifications it should do what you want. textmode(TEXT_BUFFERED)

Thanks to matthews code I managed to edit it for my game. My game now has the timer working and very soon I will have a health and hunger indicator and a little person thingy that shows the mood he is in. here is a screenshot of the timer in use Basically here is a quick features list (I will post in a new topic when the first version is properly released a full features list from the start to end of where I want the game. - game clock with hour, days, months and years(will edit it to include days names and month names
- health and hunger bars which goes down slowly depending on time
- A person that shows his mood
- A button which allows you to feed the person
- A point/money system which allows you to buy food and in a later version other items
- A hi-score system which allows you to see who holds the highest score or how old your guy lasted in age (probably be in a later version)
this is a fairly good start and I will try and post the first version as soon as possible P.S I am running windows 7 with a mac theme because I was bored

It's going to be 2D because it would be simpler for me to make. I hate 3D, I just don't know how to program in it
