Hi nina the problems with running Basic4GL on Windows 7 are probably down to graphics card issues like what you originally said. DJ usually visits the forum ever few days so he should be able to help.

I have been running B4GL for about 3 years now on Windows 7.
I must admit that I had some annoying problems when I first started using it, but they were all graphics card problems. Never ACTUALLY updated those drivers either, the problem just went away over time and a few required some quick fixes.
As for any sort of helpful advice, I'm using a Radeon HD 3100M card, and I noticed you had an Nvidia card so I don't think I can help you there.
One thing that actually worked for me was killing a bunch of processes in the task manager. Before I did that, I had at least 25+ processes running at once. At this moment, I am running 9 processes including 2 from firefox and the Task manager itself. With those "extras" killed, some problems in B4GL went away. So it MIGHT work for you?

At some point in the near future I should be getting a Windows 7 Computer so I should be able to test it & see what problems are occurring then.

Basic4Gl runs perfectly on Windows7. There are no problems with Ati or Nvidia drivers. You have to check OpenGl ! Basic4Gl used older OpenGl specification.

What are the problem with OpenGL/Basic4GL and Windows 7 ? Or is it a problem with the 32 bit environment on Windows 7 64 bit ?
