i read that even in the standalone exe, it contains the needed files to run, plus the source code. So i think even people dont include the code separately, you can see it in the exe cause its not translated into machine code. (havent tried yet tho)

lol... if someone wants Basic4GL game code that badly, they can have it. =o)
Although... I suspect having compiled machine code would actually make it a smaller .exe overall?

yes, it is.
ive moved from mvsc+ogl to b4g to start all my programs first because it was much easier to work with (then porting to c after) and most of my exe's for my stuff is only a couple kb.
btw, it is on the main page (i think) that says what it includes in the b4g standalone.
