Hey guys, If you don't know I have been programming a game. Basically I have been trying to create fonts with a transparent background. All the font creators I have been pointed to has a black background. I found this font creator here and a tga to png converter here. Step one: Download files Step two: Open the Bitmap Font Builder Step three: Select the font you like and leave everything as default. Step four: save the file as a 32bit tga with the rbga (This is so the file is transparent) Step five: make sure you select top for how the font is saved in the tga and select the place to save the file on your computer Step six: install the easy2convert tga to png application and open it Step seven: select the tga file you with the font and the click convert and your .png transparent font is ready to use in basic4gl

When you get some spare-time, why don't you upload some of the fonts you've created? Maybe other people will be able to use them in their projects. ;-)

When you get some spare-time, why don't you upload some of the fonts you've created? Maybe other people will be able to use them in their projects. ;-) I don't have a lot of spare time at the moment with university coming up again soon and I am programming my game a lot and working so I probably won't create fonts unless I am going to use them in my game. However I do have some fonts I created for the game that I have uploaded to this post. I found the Arial Black to be the best font currently and that the fonts have more spacing between the letters than the default font and make them look like spaces but if you set the text size appropriately they can look good. The fonts include Arial Black, Impact, Times New Roman and Helvetica. The program I specified above is very good and has a lot of fonts to choose from so if you want more and can't wait for me to create more for my game or have spare time to make up a lot then I suggest you create some with the process in the first post Anyways enough talk have fun using them and if you make any fonts your self please upload them here for other people to use in the future.
