Yes that's fine.
I found my fun again with B4GL, since some time. Runs fine under Windows7 in window-mode, but still buggy in fullscreen-mode. Cannot correctly restore the screen! However, I love that Sprite-System and of course OpenGl!
In the demo section you can find a fun demo.

I'm running Windows 8.1 here Peter, I haven't had any problems in fullscreen-mode yet. Have you changed any of the settings?

No, I have this settings. This runs well in Windows7! Only fullscreen makes trouble.

No, I have this settings. This runs well in Windows7! Only fullscreen makes trouble. Ok well it isn't going to be fullscreen but you could use the desktop size so if you are on a fairly modern laptop should be around 1366 x 768 or what ever screen resolution you are running. Make sure if you use this mode to change resize the sprite area to that resolution using the ResizeSpriteArea (width, height) as the default sprite area is 640 x 480 I hope this works for you but again it isn't fullscreen. Also maybe during development when you test the fullscreen mode may be buggy but when you actually convert your program to exe it will work fine not sure about that but sometimes exe for me worked better than when I was testing in basic4gl
