Ok, I uploaded some of the changes I made to the compressors and the player... Plus a brand new movie! Heres the scoop, I've been tossing around some compression techniques... It seems that it is VERY hard to compress a movie without losing a great deal of quality. I am still looking for ways around this...
The best compression so far is the color compression. Actually, I am considering making a compressor that reduces the 24bit images to 8bit images, which would decrease the file size by ALOT. But, this would seriously decrease the quality as well.
Ok, so the files I uploaded come in two packages. One for the programs, and one for the movie. The movie has been saved in each of the compression types to show the difference in filesize and quality. To use the movies, simply move the one you want to the folder that "Player.GB" is in, then run the player. One thing you will notice with each of these compression types, is that they each load relatively quick. This is of course VERY good.
Ok, enjoy the video, and look out for the movie maker I am working on that will enable you to easily create your own movies. And I will also write a simple code snip that will allow you to use these movies in your own programs. These would be GREAT for title screens, and possibly just for small animations and FMV's in various programs.
ENJOY!

btw, both the floor and wall textures in the sample movie were created by Dodic.
