This is quite possibly the dumbest Question ever, but while writing an RPG shell (text engine allowing me to set up all commands before attaching graphics) I realised the is not "input x"type feature where it will let you type a bunch of text and hit enter before storing it. That means that the only way a player can enter his name at this point is to edit my source, which is nasticious. Is this an "Oops" or am I missing something reeeeeaaalllly obvious?

"Input" is there.. But the format has changed a little. (It's just a regular function that returns a string.)
dim name$ print "What's yer name? " name$ = Input$ () print "Hello " + name$
