Any particular reason B4gl runs really shitty on Vista. I get tons of errors and when it does run, it looks like crap; the camera angle is all off, really slow, and the textures look like the TV when you unplug the receiver. Any reason for this?

Vista is crap. Period. That might be the problem. I think the other problem might be that Tom doesn't have a Vista machine to test b4gl on.

It runs ok for me. on the windows7 beta when I had it it worked amazingly. If you do a maxtextureunits() or whatever it is in XP or vista, as far as i can see, it usualy says 8, but in win7 it said 32.

I run Linux, XP Pro and XP Pro 64b. In Wine, and Xp Pro 32 bit my Asstroidz game looks great. In Xp 64b the particle system looks messed up. Its kind of funny. I heard XP Pro 64b and Vista have a lot in common, so it would make sense that it looks different.

shadow008 how about reinstalling your video drivers? Is basic4gl complaining or has it complained that hardware acceleration is unavailable and it needs to go into software mode? If this happened most likely you need to reinstall the drivers.
The camera angle being way off and the window sizes messed up might come from incorrect resolutions.
