One good suggestion that should be revived is the commercial idea. I'll start by recording a few shots from a few programs and upload to wikipedia. Everyone is free to do the same. Then, we'll combine them into a movie and upload to youtube.com. Post here any suggestions regarding this, any links to uploaded recordings using the capture plugin from djlinux and comments. SUGGESTION 1: We need to have a central location from which to dowload the plugins. They extend the B4gel functionality a great deal and they should be the primary focus of our videos, or at least programs that use them extensively... EDIT: basic4gl.wikispaces.com/file/detail/Tokamak_Terrain_Mesh.aviAn avi for the tokamak plugin by DJLinux. Avi file quality is a bit low, so i might rerecord. More to come.

I remember that some people on the forum were planning on making a basic4gl commercial for youtube, but it was never created to my knowledge. However I have a plan: -First, we all use the avi capture plugin on some of our best programs -Second, we post the video clips to my wikispace -Third, I would download the video clips and edit them together and create a really good commercial for Basic4gl -Fourth, I post it to youtube Good Idea. Suggestions of programs? I might have one or two. Besides that, I suggest the beams game, and the program DJLinux made (with the cool cars). EDIT: I'm recording as we speak. I'll upload to the wiki. Until then I'll open a separate thread for this. I think it might be good to use the 'hello world' program for the beginning of the commercial, and then progress to more complex programs such as 'Tom's Tilemap Editor' and Andrian's Senior Project Game.
