Okay, I wrote a poem, and then I created a Java method that mirrors the poem. Unfortunately, though it's legal (assuming all classes and variables are declared elsewhere), it doesn't make much sense the way I wrote it. I would like some help revising it to make the program make more sense.
Here's the original poem: Is it more than just a feeling? Could you take it to the end? Is it just a passing fancy? Is it really worth a friend?
Because you know that if you foul up, There can be no going back! I hope you took the time to think this through!
Is it love? Oh is it really? Is it love? Can you be sure? Is it love? Are you so certain? Is it love? Is it really love?
And here's the program:
private boolean isReallyLove(int it) { boolean is; is = (it > just(feeling)); You.coudTakeToEnd(it); is = (it != passingFancy); is = really(worthAFriend(it)); if(You.foul(up)) {goBack = false;} hope(You.tookTime(thinkThisThrough)); is = really((it == love)); You.canBeSure((it == love)) if (!You.soCertain((it==love))) { is = isReallyLove(it); } return is; }
