The original Dev-C++ which is still available from here is getting quite old & isn't as stable as it once was. A few years ago I discovered that it was still being developed but was now called wxDev-C++ and had built-in support for wxWidgets but because of that I never really liked using it. Yesterday however I discovered that someone was developing a modified version of the original called Orwell Dev-C++. I'm using it as an alternative to Code::Blocks as it doesn't hit the performance of my Netbook as much.

Switching between Linux and Windows i use the same Code::Blocks project files at my business.

Yeah the Project Files could be stored on Dropbox so they'd be accessible on both Systems.
