can anyone give me some ideas on how to make a 3D GUI version of it?

You mean making the output on a 3d model? Maybe making it a 3d scene that you have to walk up to a console to type the equation and then get the result mapped on a model? I might be able to help you with some of this. All I can say about text-textures is... Atropine demo... It shows some of how to render to a textures. Its hard to explain but if you want any help with it, just let me know. Otherwise, what do you mean 3d gui... Buttons? 3d buttons can be made the same as 2d, just add some depth and make them quads instead of sprites. Good luck cSc

Im sad to hear that. But, making games in VB is actually harder than in B4gl... At least thats my vote. But goodluck whatever you do.

im not really making games...the only game ive EVER made was a crappy Text RPG...and that didnt even work....

the only point i learn these codes is to do games.. or sometimes i like to make perterns and that for fun.. lol

hey i kinda know what it does but im not a 100$ sure the command "chr$" help?..
all i kno is that when you put the command down in brackets you put a number then for every number a different sign/letter/number shows up.
so could you help?

Well, nicky, if you use:
printr asc("a")
You will get the ascii character code for the letter a. Then if you use the code that you got from that (which is 97), you can use chr$ like this:
printr chr$(97)
And that will give you the character for that keycode. I hope that makes sense.
