It's me again and back with another question, ok i've found a free 3d modelling program called Gmax made by discreet the same ppl behind 3d Studio max. And i was wondering if Basic4GL has compatibility with Gmax. If it does can someone tell me how to load files from Gmax into Basic4GL. Thanks

Gmax is a propriety format that is guarded closely by discreet. They won't let anyone who doesn't shell out a few thousand $$ for it know what its like and even then it they have to sign NDAs(non-disclosure agreement) and only make converters for it to their propreity formats(which are also meant to be concealed from the general public). So, in a word, no. However, there is a converter called the tempest plugin or something similar that exports the .md3 file format, which is a known format. I'm sure you could get that loaded with Basic4GL since Tom has a demo of an .md2 displayer that comes with the Basic4GL. It would take a bit of work though.
